LEARNT HABITUAL RUTS
This is the short version of the start section, and it's maybe too short.
Humans were successful as a species, because we learnt to focus with our minds and think. We developed our memory systems with abstract words and symbols. This was a new level of focussing, understanding, and being in the world. We secured our survival by being clever and creative. And then we remembered and repeated the things we learnt.
It is a multi-efficient system. Learnt habitual repetitive ruts are essential. These days we encourage focussing and concentrating with our senses on reading and writing, from the earliest age to give children a good start in life.
